Strategy 03 / Range trading

Baxia Grid

Grid divides a price range into levels and keeps orders on each one. It buys as price falls through the levels and sells as price rises, working only inside the range you set.

What it does

Works the range, level by level.

When a market moves back and forth without a clear trend, each swing is an opportunity to execute High and Low binary option contracts at bracketed levels. Grid automates that cycle so it repeats without you placing each order manually.

You choose the upper and lower bounds, the number of trigger levels and how much stake the grid can use. Outside the range, Grid stops opening new binary contracts.

How it works

A ladder that refills itself.

  1. 01

    Build the ladder

The range is split into evenly or geometrically spaced levels, with UP contract triggers below the current price and DOWN contract triggers above.

  2. 02

    Execute and cycle

When price touches a lower boundary, an UP contract executes. When price touches an upper boundary, a DOWN contract executes.

  3. 03

    Stay in bounds

If price leaves the range, the grid pauses new orders and follows your chosen out-of-range rule.

Who it is for

Built for ranging markets.

Designed for

  • Pairs that have been trading inside a clear range
  • Traders who prefer many small, rule-based trades
  • Running several grids on different pairs

Less suited to

  • Strong one-way trends that break the range
  • Very illiquid pairs with wide spreads

Configuration

Parameters you control.

Upper and lower bound
The price range the grid works inExample: 3,200 to 3,600
Levels
Number of grid lines inside the rangeExample: 24
Spacing
Arithmetic (equal price steps) or geometric (equal percentage steps)
Investment
Capital the grid can use across all levelsExample: 20% of account
Out-of-range rule
Pause, keep holdings, or close the grid when price leaves the range

Risk controls

Limits that always apply.

  • Range stop loss. Close the grid if price falls a set distance below the lower bound.
  • Take profit. Stop the grid once total profit reaches your target.
  • Capital cap. The grid never uses more than its assigned investment.
  • Manual override. Pause, adjust the range or close the grid at any time.

FAQ

Grid questions.

What happens if price breaks out of my range?

Grid follows the out-of-range rule you chose: pause and wait, keep the assets it holds, or close the grid. If price falls below the range you may be holding assets bought at higher levels.

How many levels should I use?

More levels mean smaller, more frequent trades. Fewer levels mean larger gaps between trades. Each level must meet the exchange minimum order size, which the terminal checks for you.

Can I run more than one grid instance?

Yes! With your $50 lifetime license, you can run multiple concurrent Grid bots across multiple binary pairs with zero restrictions.
